Community Pulls Together to Brighten the Holidays for Hundreds

Since 1991, Action Inc.’s Project Uplift has been providing a helping hand to local families in need during the holiday season. Each December the community pulls together by donating tens of thousands of gifts, volunteering hundreds of hours, and providing generous donations of gift cards and cash. This is community in action!

Through our holiday store, parents can “shop” for gifts for kids aged 0-16, choosing gifts their kids will love, and preserving the magic of the holidays. In addition to toys, all kids receive books, pajamas, stocking stuffers, and cold-weather items like hats, scarves, gloves, all free of charge. This year the store operated from December 14th – 18th, serving almost 400 families, and helping spread joy across Cape Ann.
