Think Outside the Box this Holiday Season!
Like much of our lives right now, ‘Holiday Stores’ on Cape Ann will look different this year. Action Inc., Pathways for Children, and Wellspring House, Inc. are collaborating to make sure that all Cape Ann kids enjoy a magical holiday!
Together, our organizations are collecting cash donations for the Cape Ann Kids Holiday Fund with a goal of raising $100,000.
With so many families struggling with lost wages, lack of childcare, and financial instability, we know the need in our community will be greater than ever this year. Donation to the Cape Ann Kids Holiday Fund will allow us to provide gift cards for hundreds of families in need. Gift cards will offer families the safest, most flexible option to provide that special gift for their children.
The three Cape Ann nonprofits arrived at the idea of joining together to launch the fund because current restrictions prevent them from opening their doors and welcoming parents in to select gifts as they have in the past. As an alternative, proceeds from the Cape Ann Kids Holiday Fund will provide gift cards to hundreds of local families. This format offers families the safest and most flexible option for providing that special toy or gift for their children and teens. To ensure families have time to shop locally or online, cards will be given out the first week of December.
