Education is the key to better opportunities and a better life. At Action Inc., we’re here to assist you with taking the next steps toward furthering your education and achieving a successful future. We understand that no one learns in the same way. Through our targeted education and job training programs at the Timothy L. Riley Education and Training Center, we work with you at your current education level and learning style to help you achieve your personal, educational, and career goals.

We offer education programs for young people and adults who want to earn their high school equivalency, training programs for folks seeking new careers, and workshops and coaching to help anyone manage their finances better. Our goal is to expand job readiness and employment opportunities for residents of Cape Ann. We will work with you to achieve your education and job goals – whether you want to earn your high school diploma, go to college, or get a better job so you can provide more for yourself and your family.

If you need your high school equivalency (GED/HiSET), we offer the COMPASS Youth Program for out-of-school young people ages 16 to 24, as well as Adult Basic Education for people ages 18 and above. Job Training options include our Trades Gateway Program for those looking to train in a particular trade, as well as help finding other training opportunities that fit your life. We also help with resume writing, career interest assessments, job searches, interview skills, and more through our Career Services Program. Our Financial Empowerment Programs also provide participants with individualized support, and educational workshops to help them manage their resources with greater confidence.
