Peabody, MA, January 29, 2024
Action Inc., the Gloucester-based non-profit human service agency, is pleased to announce the consolidation and relocation of our Energy Services departments to one central location at 5 Centennial Avenue, Suite 200, in Peabody. This strategic move will enhance our ability to better serve the 31 communities covered by the Energy Services departments.
All Energy Services operations, including Single-Family, Multi-Family, and Budget & Data Services, are all under one roof at our new central location. These departments were previously split over three separate offices in Gloucester and Peabody to accommodate the incredible programmatic growth experienced since 2021.
Action Inc.’s Energy Services programs serve both renters and homeowners who qualify for no-cost energy upgrades to their homes if they meet income guidelines. The programs are designed to save residents money on their energy bills, lower their housing costs, and increase their health and safety, keeping them comfortable in their homes year-round. Action Inc. delivers full project management and oversight of the upgrades.
The decision to consolidate and relocate our Energy Services departments is driven by our commitment to improving service delivery, streamlining operations, fostering a more collaborative and integrated approach, and ensuring that energy efficiency solutions are accessible to all individuals, regardless of their income level.
Key benefits of this relocation and consolidation include:
- Enhanced Efficiency: Centralizing our services will result in increased operational efficiency, allowing us to better allocate resources and respond promptly to the needs of our clients.
- Improved Collaboration: Bringing together various Energy Services departments in one location will facilitate improved collaboration and communication, fostering a more integrated and cohesive team.
- Community-Centric Approach: Serving the 31 communities covered by our Energy Services departments remains our top priority. The central location in Peabody will allow us to better serve residents in the communities we serve while providing efficient services.
“We are confident that this consolidation and relocation will not only strengthen our organization but, more importantly, will enhance the overall experience for our clients and the communities we serve,” states Jennifer Beloff, Chief Program Officer, Action Inc.
“We firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, should have the opportunity to benefit from energy-efficient solutions which not only positively impact their energy bill but also the environment,” says Elliott Jacobson, Vice President, Energy Services at Action Inc.. “Action Inc. aims to contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.”
