Help us show Action Inc.’s impact on our community!
We are creating a video in honor of our Action Inc.’s 60th Anniversary! We need your help to showcase the impact Action Inc.’s programs have had on the community.
Our “Video Quilt” will collect short clips from throughout our community and turn them into a montage of positive change that Action Inc. has helped bring about. The video will be shown at our 60th Anniversary Celebration in September and shared on our website and social media.
Want to be a part of it? Follow the directions below!
Step 1: Record yourself
Use your phone to record yourself (or someone else) responding to one of these prompts.
Please pick 1 prompt only and make sure to keep your video under 15 seconds long.

*Tips for Recording Video*
Our goal is to capture videos where we can clearly hear what people are saying and see their faces. Here are some tips to follow when shooting your video:
- Shoot vertically. Hold the phone upright (portrait mode). It feels natural to people and helps all the videos look consistent. Selfie videos are totally fine!
- Find a quiet spot. This is the most important thing. If there’s background noise you can’t avoid, position the phone within 2 feet of yourself or the person speaking to make sure their voice comes through clearly.
- Find good lighting. Face a main light source—like a window or a bright lamp—so your face is nice and clear.
- Frame it waist-up (or closer). This makes it easier to see expressions and hear people well. Avoid filming from too far away. If the location is important, get a wider shot of it afterward.
- Keep it brief. Videos should be no longer than 15 seconds but should include specific information about how Action Inc. was able to support you or your family.
