If you are experiencing housing issues, struggling to pay your bills, or looking to connect with local resources, our Community Services team can help point you in the right direction.

Housing & Public Benefits Support
Community Services Navigators meet with people one-on-one and can offer:
- help with housing applications (including public housing, RAFT, and more)
- guidance on public benefits such as SNAP (Food Stamps), Medicaid/MassHealth, and SSI/SSDI
- access to legal advice
- help with evictions and tenant/landlord disputes
- referrals to community resources & other supportive services
Rental and Mortgage Assistance
Short-term financial support is available for renters and homeowners who are struggling with their housing costs. Assistance is based on your current income and housing situation. Contact us to see if you might be eligible.
This funding has been made available in part by the City of Gloucester Community Preservation Act.


Immigration Support
Our Multi-lingual Community Services Navigator can offer guidance on the immigration process, including:
- Signing up for health insurance
- Renewing passports
- School registration for children
- Filling out immigration paperwork
- Referrals to community resources for food, clothing, furniture, and medical care
