Part-Time Bookkeeper

    The successful candidate will be involved in day to day accounting/bookkeeping functions and will report to the Chief Financial Officer. 20 hours per week.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with month end close including bank reconciliations
  • Adjust and prepare journal entries
  • Assist with payroll, Accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Be involved with revenue recognition and revenue analysis
  • Assist with budgeting
  • Ad hoc projects
  • BS, BA, or certification in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of hands on accounting experience
  • Experience in a non-profit agency

    Commensurate with experience and education.

Building Performance Specialist

    Responsibilities include energy improvement recommendations, contractor management and resolution of contractor and client issues resulting from inspection findings. The position will also involve implementing program practices/procedures, coordinating activities between contractors, owners, customers, and all other parties involved throughout the administrative and technical processes. The individual will provide timely and accurate data as requested by managers and funding sources.

    Candidate must successfully complete home energy audit review and written test after sixty (60) days of training.

  • 5 years experience in building/construction trade
  • Building Performance Institute Certified, desired
  • Drivers' license required and reliable daily transportation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Second language desired

  • Physical demands: Must be able to lift, move, and carry 10 lbs

Director, Human Resources

    35 Hours per week, Exempt

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Human Resources provides overall direction for Human Resources in order to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and labor laws; ensures appropriate policies and procedures for employees; and manages employee benefits. He/she will manage the Agency’s Workers Compensation program and provide employee counseling.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain personnel files for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations concerning employment.
  • Act as EEO compliance officer.
  • Act as Whistleblower Protection compliance officer.
  • Keep Executive Director and BOD informed of need for new policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with Executive Director and BOD re: grievance or personnel issues.
  • Provide employee relations counseling.
  • Post recruitment advertisements, screen resumes and assist with hiring process.
  • Draft and extend verbal and written offers.
  • Check references and conduct appropriate background checks.
  • Conduct new hire orientations.
  • Counsel employees on benefit programs and policies and procedures.
  • Process benefits enrollments and terminations.
  • Administer COBRA.
  • Manage open enrollment process once the bidding process is complete.
  • Assist managers with training and development efforts.
  • File “101” forms with Department of Industrial Accidents.
  • Manage Workers’ Compensation program.
  • Complete OSHA 300 Log on an annual basis as required.
  • Create various reports as needed.
  • Attend and participate in departmental, organization-wide and other meetings.
  • Act in the best interest of the organization, reflecting the values of team work, collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum of B.S. Degree in human resources or related field, Masters preferred.
  • 5+ years of human resources, 2+ at the management level.
  • Self directed
  • Experience working in a non-profit setting a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, possess a high degree of confidentiality and a sense of urgency.
  • Microsoft Office Products skills
