A program to help youth realize
the power of knowledge
How to apply
GED (General Education
Diploma)
The GED program at Compass is open enrollment and
all students who have dropped out of high school are
welcome to set an intake appointment with Compass
staff. After the intake appointment, a second
appointment to take the TABE test (Adult Basic
Education Test) is scheduled. Students must achieve
at least a ninth grade score to enroll in GED
classes. Classes meet four times a week in the
evenings. Classes usually begin in late September.
Call (978) 281-9682 or email us at
emoran@actioninc.org.
High School Diploma
Most high school diploma
students at Compass are juniors or seniors who are
behind in credits and at risk of dropping out.
Students and parents should contact the high school
guidance office to determine if a student is
eligible for this program.
