About
Compass
Compass
helps young people realize educational goals, develop skills for the workplace and helpful attitudes towards work,
and discover their career interests. We
provide students with educational
alternatives and creative opportunities that reduce or
eliminate barriers to learning. We specialize in creating a
learning environment that is flexible and accepting of the
youth culture while simultaneously encouraging students to
take personal responsibility and to become proactive in
their learning experiences.
At
Compass, our
students' primary goal is to obtain a high school
diploma or GED and to enter college or full-time
employment as successful young adults. Our challenge is
to help students achieve their goals by discovering
their learning styles, multiple forms of intelligence,
and the career interests that will lead to meaningful
vocational and life choices.
